Started with the idea of making a pain-relief balm, Rhino Research Products has come a long way since 1985 and has launched an entire range of high-quality medicinal products at an affordable price. The first product named “Deluxe Balm” sparked an idea of providing effective ayurvedic cures to the masses leading Dr. Pannalal Oswal, a humanist at heart and physician by profession, set up his own manufacturing company Rhino Research Products, in 1985.

Rhino Research Products is the brainchild of Dr. Pannalal Oswal, a physician and a humanist, who aspires to make affordable, high-quality healthcare products accessible to all.

It all started in 1970 at the back of a medical store where this physician attempted to make a pain relief balm employing the ancient science of healing — Ayurveda.

Good quality medicines at an affordable rate weren’t common in those days. The success of “Deluxe Balm” sparked an idea to make it accessible to all, which led to the launch of Rhino Research Products.

The logo of Rhino Products is a tribute to the beautiful state it comes from. In fact, the name itself represents the beautiful state that it is known for — one-horned Rhinoceros.

Started with merely 4 diverse products, Rhino has extensively expanded and added 21 new products to its collection now. With the availability in more than 5000 retail stores, Rhino has made its footprints in 10 states and is continuously growing. Currently, we have our presence in Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, and Maharashtra.

The desire to provide better healthcare and make an impact in our community prompted Dr. Pannalal to take initiatives in setting up Diabetic Education Centre, Sishu Suraksha Kendra, and Malaria Prevention Campaigns. Furthermore, after tying up with Lions Club, the company has organized several more medical camps, including Eye Operation camps and Child Immunization Services.

Besides affinity towards humanity, Rhino shares a strong relationship with nature too. Protecting biodiversity and encouraging sustainability in every way is aligned with our every action. We constantly make efforts to give back to our community and nature.
